Though a part of me, a big part, is cunningly happy that justice is being delivered to all those 100's of mumbaikars who were killed in blasts in 1993... my other part gets over me when I see the number increase from 3 initially to 10 today..

So far 10 people have been given the death sentence in the case. Killing 10 or more people is massacre even if it is by law... shouldn't we be instead putting our resources to just kill that fellow called D or Dawood ibrahim who masterminded the blasts.

Well, hearing all this news about the death sentence for his suparis / employees of 1993, D should be saying, "I myself wanted to get rid of old people.. and find new energitic youth to do the business of killing"

I somehow until now strongly believe that people who have no consideration for other people's lives, and can kill anybody for the sake of money or fame or religion, should just be hanged or removed from the face of the earth.

You can call me ridiculous, and so inconsiderate of the value of human life itself..
But I am thinking scientifically.. on Darwin's theory of survival.. "Survival of the fittest". If you don't fight terror, you might end up being a casualty of it.

You might ask.. why not think the gandhian way?
Gandhian values can fight only diplomacy and can be used only against people/issues that obey law.

Though I believe killing 10 people doesn't stop blasts like mumbai from happening again, I feel its the safest way to continue living.. at least until you have highly secured separate islands of prisons to detain such killers to a term of sentence without death. And with a country like India where the number of poor people are high, we should invest in developing resources for trade and for uplifting the poor, rather than investing in secure island prisons.

Below link produces some proof and serious facts about how China (and probably many Asian countries including India) is pushing stuff into the US market for better profits and easier marketing.

The facts stated in the post are one of those articles that clearly drive the importance of "quality, and ethical business" on the face of modern business which fuels profitable and competitive business strategies.

On the face of all this, we are expecting the 2008 olympics. I hope China doesn't contaminate the 2008 olympics into some big trade gimmick and ethically keep it a sporting event.

In my opinion, even if one person suffers a serious illness (leave alone death) due to contamination of food items, the company should be slapped with sanctions and legal consequences which will hurt its business's bad ethics.

I say that:

Heaven and Hell aren't above... its just around us... it is in how we make it look.

Making pizza

pizza-2.jpgMaking a simple pizza at home could be fun.. especially when you realize its actually easier than all those other indian dishes to make.

When we say 'easy' we are not under-estimating the process.. Everything is easy to do in cooking as long we don't want to be perfect, not bother about nutritional facts, and when we know we are only cooking to make a meal and are not actually trying to out do the experts at the pizzarettes.

pizza-1.jpgTo be a good cook, you need practise and importantly observe how other people do it. That probably can be said for becoming good in most things actually.

So to do a good pizza, the below process, and some instructions or cookbooks that you can find on the internet or your local store can give you a start.

Try this link below for a starter.
Make a pizza

What pizzarettes' use to cook is an high-temperature oven (which supports a maximum of 500 degrees centigrade).. but this we may not have at our homes.. and normally we are reading how to cook a pizza only to make one using our new microwave oven. In that case, keep your pizza size small. Also, if you bought a pizza base which is like bread rather than flour, then you cook for as long as the bread doesn't become roasted and hard. Using more cheese and oil can help this.

In india, home-made pizzas aren't the order of the day, and hence you may not find mozerrella cheese or a home-cooked tomato sauce at the stores.
You can though, get a ready-made pizza base, and probably Cheese for pizza from your local food store. Also, bottled tomato sauce can be used, but make sure how much you use, because bottled sauces are generally strong and as Indians we are not used to bulk consumption of bottled sauces.. that might upset your stomach.

Pizza is not a healthy food.. its probably the most bad junk food around, because of lots of cheese, oil, sauce and a lot of all the junk foods put together. So, you should only be eating one a month and also working out regularly at the gym to keep your body from becoming lazy.
